14 March 2025. The International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) made a partial supervision mission from 6th to 14th March 2025. The main objective of this mission was to review the current performance, provide guidance or new solutions for ongoing challenges and ensure smooth implementation of the project in line with the project design report and Government’s developmental priorities.

While in Bhutan, the mission team reviewed the overall performance of the project, agreed actions of the 1st supervision mission which took place from 22nd April to 10th May 2024 and helped resolve any bottlenecks hindering the project implementation. The mission also paid a courtesy call to Hon’ble Governor, Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), hold discussions with PMU staff and relevant stakeholders from 8th to 11th March 2025, and meet with TWG members and convened a wrap-up meeting with Hon’ble Dasho Secretary on 13th March 2025
