A two-day consultation workshop (October 17-18, 2024) successfully concluded today at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Conference Hall. The opening session was graced by the Honourable Secretary of MoAL, with participation from IFAD, WFP, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, focal points from line departments, PPD, and the PMU.

The primary objectives of the workshop were to accelerate the formulation of Agriculture Resilience Plans (ARP) by the WFP TA team, ensuring they are fit for purpose, and to jointly identify project activities that can be initiated before the ARP’s completion, particularly in preparation for the 2025-26 Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB). During the workshop, the following topics were discussed:

1. Development of the AWPB guideline.

2. Revision of the PIM.

3. Update on the development of the MIS system.

4. Update on the baseline survey.

5. Recruitment of Sanam Jabjorpa by Tarayana.
